Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Installer to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical systems and construction practices, with an emphasis on precision and safety. The ideal candidate will have experience in sheet metal work, HVAC servicing and reading plans and schematics. Duties

  • Install new HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and schematics
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on existing HVAC units to ensure optimal operation
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues using mechanical knowledge and diagnostic tools
  • Follow safety protocols during all phases of installation and maintenance work
  • Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and accurately
  • Read and interpret technical schematics and blueprints for proper system setup

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in HVAC systems
  • Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately
  • Construction experience with a focus on installation procedures
  • Mechanical or mechanic experience preferred, especially related to appliances or maintenance work
  • Knowledge of appliance repair techniques and troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with safety standards and protocols in the construction or HVAC industry
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $17.00-$42.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
