Position Title: Campground Attendant

Department: Property Operations

Schedule: As operations require, including weekends and statutory holidays. Hours typically fall between 30 and 40 hours/week.

Start Date: Looking for candidates available to start between March and June 2026.

Pay: $17.85/hr with a $1/hr contract completion bonus upon full completion of contracted period.

POSITION SUMMARY

Reporting to the Property Operations Manager, the Campground Attendant will provide for the comfort of guests by ensuring the grounds and public areas are clean, groomed and presented in an optimal aesthetic manner. A Campground Attendant promotes a positive image of the property to guests, and must be pleasant, friendly and able to address problems or special requests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The key responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:

-Provide 5-star customer service to all guests.

-Acknowledge and greet guests with a warm and friendly greeting.

-Clean and maintain Campground sites.

-Perform housekeeping duties of Campground common and operation areas.

-Maintain Campground garbage/recycling bins, doggie bag dispensers, ashtrays.

-Assist in the collection, sorting and returning of recycling.

-Operate vehicles and powered equipment, such as mowers, tractors, twin axle-vehicles, leaf blowers, chain saws, electric clippers, sod cutters and pruning saws.

-Perform lawn maintenance and plant beds by mowing, mulching, weeding, aerating, grubbing, thatch removal, trimming or edging and pruning.

-Clean and maintain walkways.

-Maintain or repair tools, equipment or structures.

-Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking lots, fountains, planters or other grounds features.

-Work closely with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction.

-Answer or investigate all guest inquiries in a timely manner.

-Comply with all Campground safety guidelines and be familiar with emergency procedures.

-Perform other job-related duties and special projects assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL EXPERIENCE

-Ability to work well unsupervised, at a fast pace while maintaining quality standards

-Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team

-Ability to maintain a high level of work ethic and attention to detail

-Excellent communication and organizational skills

-Highly responsible and reliable

-Proficient in English both verbally and in written work

-Valid driver's license

-Campground experience and RV/Camp trailer knowledge is an asset

Physical Demands

Must be physically fit and able to lift moderately heavy items, along with movements such as bending, stooping, kneeling and climbing stairs when required. In addition will be required to perform repetitive tasks and stand on feet/or walk for long periods of time.
