Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in their trade, demonstrating proficiency and expertise in various tasks. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship, safety, and collaboration with team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of tasks related to your trade, including installation, maintenance, and repair work.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to complete projects accurately.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards while working on-site.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople and team members to coordinate project tasks and timelines.
  • Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to apprentices or less experienced workers when needed.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records of materials used.

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Journeyperson in your specific trade as an automotive technician
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot issues effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
  • Attention to detail to ensure high-quality workmanship on all tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with relevant tools, equipment, and safety practices within the trade.
  • A valid certification or license in your trade is mandatory as vehicle inspections are required.
  • Experience in body would be a definite asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
