Farm Assistant – Temporary Full-Time

We are a small farm located in the Richmond–Fallowfield area of Ottawa, and we're looking for someone to help with cashier duties and harvesting this fall.

Location: Richmond, Ontario

Job Type: Temporary Full-Time (Oct 15 – Nov 2, 2025)

Schedule:

  • Wednesday to Sunday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay Rate: $18/hour

Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and handle cashier duties
  • Assist with harvesting and general preparation work for sales
  • General farm labor, such as cleaning, organizing, and assisting with various tasks around the farm
  • Support planting or other seasonal tasks when needed

What We're Looking For:

  • Must commit to at least 3 weeks of work. No unapproved absences allowed.
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to pitch in where needed
  • Comfortable with physical tasks like lifting produce crates
  • Must arrange own transportation (no bus route directly to the farm)
