Draftsperson

Makloc is currently seeking the position of Draftsperson based out of Nisku, Alberta.

Responsibilities include:

• preparation of drawings for customer approval
• preparation of fabrication drawings for shop purposes
• preparation of material lists, cut lists and panel layouts for building systems.

Qualifications include:

• Graduate of the Engineering Design & Drafting program from an accredited Canadian Technical Institute (REQUIRED)
• Proficient in AutoCAD software
• Knowledge of TEKLA (REQUIRED)
• Experience with Rigid Frame Detailing
• As well as structural steel skids, metal building systems & stairways & handrails
• Solid academic achievement, strong interpersonal skills & commitment
• Works with/understands the Handbook of Steel Construction
