We're a focused, mission-driven team working to give every business the financial clarity they need to make smarter decisions- and we're hiring someone to manage BizOps that help keep the company operating at a high level as we scale.
What We're Looking ForThis is a high-trust, high-impact role that sits at the center of Puzzle's operations. BizOps works closely with the CEO, CFO and leadership team to ensure the company runs smoothly day to day- from people operations to general business operations to coordination with our external HR, accounting, and legal partners.
Most of our core processes already exist. Your job is to own them, evolve them, and keep the company organized, aligned, and moving forward. If you love improving systems, making others more effective, and being the operational glue of a fast-moving startup, this is the role for you.
What You'll Do People Operations & Team Experience-
Support onboarding and off-boarding workflows (offers, access, equipment, documentation).

Maintain org charts, team updates, and company-wide communications.

Support culture initiatives, company offsites, and internal celebrations that make Puzzle a great place to work.

Oversee recurring routines that keep the company running- vendor management, contract coordination, renewals, and general ops.

Maintain clean documentation, improve processes, and help teams stay organized.

Support CEO and leaders across cross-functional projects and priorities.

Be the point of contact for budgets, spend and reporting

Partner with our external accounting and finance teams to ensure we stay accurate, timely, and compliant.

Keep our financial operations organized so our teams can focus on execution.

5+ years of experience in Business Operations, Accounting, Chief of Staff, Operations Management, Administrative Management, or a comparable role.

Hands-on experience with bookkeeping/accounting or financial operations workflows is strongly preferred.

Exceptional organizational skills- able to keep multiple processes, routines, and deadlines moving smoothly.

Strong project management, documentation, and written communication skills.

Comfortable working cross-functionally with internal teams and external partners across HR, accounting firms, legal counsel, and vendors.

Resourceful with a strong bias toward action, ownership, and follow-through.

A creative problem-solver who can untangle ambiguity and keep things moving.
