Apex Systems is a global IT services provider, and our staffing practice has an opening for an Email Developer with a background in Salesforce Marketing Cloud, coding, creating email templates, and working with Campaign managers to place at our client, a Big 5 bank.

Job Description

• Generally we are looking for someone with Email Dev skills working agency side. Familiarity with Big 5 is a huge plus as it's much more nuanced than other industriesThey should be accustomed to iterative build and testing
• Experience building email templates in SFMC with personalized versions
• Daily use of tools like JIRA, Confluence, etc.
• Daily use of SFMC
• Familiarity working in teams of Campaign Managers, QAs and Project Managers
• Full fluency in HTML, CSS, Ampscript

Everything else is gravy. You'll get a lot of front-end/web DEVs applying, typically they'll need guidance on getting accustomed to building emails but they generally cost more and end up doing the same work as an email DEV

The role of Email Developer will lead email design and development across various marketing automation platforms while providing necessary guidance to designers. To be successful in this role, candidates must be technically driven, accustomed to working in close partnership with Campaign Managers and QA Analysts, and have an in-depth understanding of email marketing solutions and marketing automation platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Build and develop email marketing templates and content via marketing automation platforms
• Review campaign requirements and define solutions required to support CRM programs
• Utilize HTML/CSS and email marketing best practices to create and code interactive experiences for email.
• Apply the best practices in email development, email compliance regulations, and accessibility
• Set up, test, and launch complex email campaigns with dynamic content
• Troubleshoot HTML, CSS, and other performance issues

Qualifications:

• Fluency in HTML, CSS, Javascript and Ampscript
• Hands on experience using Campaign Marketing Automation platforms building email templates and content
• Hands on experience with one or more of the following platforms: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot, Adobe Campaign, Acoustic Campaign (IBM/Silverpop) Oracle Eloqua
• Certification in SFMC, Braze, Adobe campaign or similar desired
• Familiar with dynamic content rules
• Familiar with working in an Agile environment and using tools including JIRA

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in the Financial Industry
• Experience working in an agency environment
