Source Office Furniture is seeking applications from qualified individuals for the position of Machine Operator (Reach Truck Operator) at our Burnaby, BC location. This is a full-time, unionized position, requiring membership in the UFCW.
The Machine Operator is primarily responsible for operating Stand-Up Reach Trucks and other material handling machinery to pick orders from warehouse racking, unload and load trailers, and to assist with moving product within the warehouse.

Main Responsibilities:
- Pick product from warehouse racks and stage the product, as well as help load up delivery trucks (this could involve lifting and carrying items by hand).
- Maintain machinery and ensure regular maintenance and repairs are carried out.
- Inventory and organization of product received into the warehouse.
- Load and unload containers in the warehouse by use of stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, dollies, etc. and organize and store the merchandise.
Qualifications:
- Experience with Reach Trucks would be an asset
- Ability to prioritize and organize
- Ability to consistently carry 50-100lbs unassisted
- Knowledge of hand and power tools
- Dependable team player, with a positive attitude and strong ability to follow directions
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills including complete and accurate paperwork
- Legally authorized to work in Canada
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8am to 4:30pm
Rate: $23.97 per hour
