WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:Knowledge of cleaning or willingness to learn, experience in a similar role in the event or service industry and or working with the public an asset;Demonstrated commitment to providing service excellence and ability to maintain a friendly demeanor;Ability to multi task and to problem solveAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and the ability to co-operate with others Ability to deal with large crowds;Mentally and physically able to deal with assigned tasks including exposure to seasonal heat and cold in an outdoor and indoor environment, extended periods of standing and bending, at times extensive walking from one location to another on concrete surfaces, lifting over 35 pounds;Effective written and verbal communication skills in English (an additional language is an asset);Computer literate with the ability to utilize BC Place employee service portal via internet or on-site kiosks;Ability to work days, evenings, overnights, weekends and statutory holidays as required;Must be able to work 80% of our anchor events (approx. 25 events per year).OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:Complete an online interview questionnaire sent to you by email.Attend our hiring event scheduled between January 13 – 25, 2026 if you are shortlisted.
