Becoming a member of Saskatchewan Millwrights Local 1021 and joining the United Brotherhood of Carpenters (UBC) through our affiliation with the Millwright Regional Council (MRC) is an opportunity we offer only to qualified professionals who take pride in their trade. We are currently seeking CWB-certified All-Position Welders who demonstrate:

• Pride in their craft and quality workmanship
• Advanced welding skills across all positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead)
• A strong work ethic and dedication to job site productivity
• Commitment to safety and professionalism
• Willingness to uphold the MRC Code of Conduct

Position Details

You may apply to join Millwrights Local 1021 as a walk-in member if you:

• Are a CWB-certified All-Position Welder (Journeyperson status preferred, apprentices also considered)
• Hold a valid Class 5 driver's license (or equivalent)

• Copy of your CWB certification
• Relevant welding qualifications and tickets
• Any applicable safety certifications
• Driver's license and any other supporting credentials

Minimum Safety Requirements to Begin Work

To be placed on our Out-of-Work list and to start receiving job dispatches as a Walk-in Member, you must have valid certification in the following:

• Fall Protection
• Confined Space Entry
• Aerial Work Platform (AWP)
