Maintenance Associate

Mississauga, Ontario.
The role of a Maintenance Associate is to complete all scheduled maintenance and repair equipment as necessary throughout the Distribution Centre. Weekend Shift Friday- Sunday 6:00am - 6:30pm

We Offer

  • $32.04 hourly
  • $1.25 per hour premium
  • Weekly pay including 4% vacation pay
  • 36 Hour work weeks with possible overtime
  • Great work environment

Responsibilities

  • Render preventative maintenance on the conveyor systems equipment
  • Complete diagnosis and repairs on conveyor system equipment
  • Complete diagnosis and repairs on the lift equipment fleet
  • Complete electrical diagnosis and repair (where applicable)
  • Provide facility maintenance and repair
  • Perform general construction as required
  • Demonstrate good communication practices, including verbal, written and computer skills
  • Ability to perform the Maintenance Helper function such as general facilities duties

Must Have

  • High school education or equivalent
  • 2 years of previous maintenance experience
  • Vocational technical school certificate
  • Mechanical trade experience
  • Programmable Logic Controller experience
  • MP2 maintenance software experience
  • Ability to work and frequently move throughout platform areas up to 45 feet above ground level
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaboratively work in a group or independently
