Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe delivery. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate various types of vehicles, including box trucks.

Duties

  • Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations.
  • Load and unload goods efficiently, utilizing equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks when necessary.
  • Navigate assigned routes effectively while maintaining punctuality in deliveries.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during interactions with clients at delivery locations.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Handle paperwork related to deliveries, including invoices and delivery confirmations.
  • Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of goods.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Experience operating commercial vehicles, particularly box trucks, is a plus.
  • Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems to optimize delivery efficiency.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
  • Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is advantageous.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
