Position Summary
We're looking for a full-time Line Cook / Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team. You'll be responsible for running your section, supporting prep, and delivering consistently high-quality dishes during service.
This role is ideal for a skilled cook ready to take the next step — someone who wants to grow into a senior station lead or Sous Chef position over time. You'll learn from experienced chefs, work in a professional and supportive kitchen, and be part of a team that values craft, consistency, and growth.
Schedule & Work–Life Balance
- 5 days a week (full-time)
- 2 days off back-to-back every week
- Consistent schedule:
- Lunch shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Dinner shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM
We believe great kitchens start with balance — you should be able to work hard and still have time for yourself.
What You'll Do
- Cook and plate dishes to The Oxley's standards of quality and consistency.
- Maintain your station and mise en place to a high standard.
- Work cleanly, calmly, and efficiently during service.
- Support daily prep, features, and seasonal menu changes.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Sous Chef to ensure smooth service.
- Contribute to a positive, respectful kitchen environment.
What We're Looking For
- 1–3 years' experience as a line cook or Chef de Partie in a quality restaurant.
- Solid foundation in classic cooking and plating techniques.
- Reliable, organized, and focused under pressure.
- Team-oriented with pride in your work and attention to detail.
- Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- A genuine interest in learning and growing within a professional kitchen.
