Duties

  • Safely operate a taxi vehicle while adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Pick up passengers at designated locations and transport them to their requested destinations.
  • Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with passengers.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and provide change as necessary.
  • Keep the taxi vehicle clean, well-maintained, and in good working order.
  • Plan efficient routes to ensure timely arrivals at destinations.
  • Assist passengers with luggage or special needs as required.
  • Report any vehicle issues or accidents promptly to management.

Skills

  • Proven experience in commercial driving is preferred.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with passengers.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt pickups and drop-offs.
  • Proficient in cash handling and basic arithmetic for fare calculations.
  • Ability to navigate using GPS systems and local maps efficiently.
  • Knowledge of local traffic patterns and routes is advantageous.
