Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and personable Hair Stylist to join our vibrant salon team. The Hair Stylist will be responsible for providing professional hair services, assisting clients with product recommendations, and ensuring the salon maintains the highest standards of sanitation and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling to meet client preferences
• Provide excellent customer service by understanding client needs and offering personalized recommendations
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools, workstations, and salon areas in compliance with health regulations
• Upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Manage front desk duties such as scheduling appointments, checking in clients, and processing payments
• Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and follow-up
• Stay current with industry trends and techniques through ongoing education and training

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology license or certification as required by state regulations
• Proven experience in hair styling, cutting, coloring, and treatments
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and best practices in a salon environment
• Ability to upsell retail products naturally within service consultations
• Excellent communication skills for engaging with clients and team members
• Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is a plus
• Friendly, professional demeanor with a passion for helping clients look and feel their best

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.20 per hour

Expected hours: 57 per week
