Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and personable Sales Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role involves both in-store and online sales. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to our cohesive team. This position also offers an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in developing their ecommerce skills. This position is guaranteed for Tuesday and Thursdays. Opportunities for more hours will be available with seasonal volumes, vacations and illnesses. Ability to work the occasional weekend will be required.

Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and assist them with product inquiries and selections
  • Provide detailed information about products and services to help customers make informed decisions
  • Process transactions accurately using point-of-sale systems
  • Pick, pack, and ship online orders
  • Maintain organized displays and ensure the sales floor is clean and inviting
  • Assist in managing inventory levels, restocking shelves, and tracking stock movements
  • Ability to work independently and to anticipate what needs to be done without major direction.

Experience

  • Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Basic proficiency with cash handling and POS systems
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn about products and sales techniques

This role is ideal for individuals looking for permanent part time work in a fun, dynamic environment and will be eager to grow within a supportive retail environment.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
