Job Description:

  • Drive as part of a two-person team
  • Load and unload goods
  • Operate and drive staright or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials
  • Oversee conditions of vehicles and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment
  • Perform pre-trip, en-route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle
  • Receive and relay information to central dispatch
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled, and fuel consumption

Job Requirements:

  • Air Brakes Endorsement
  • Driver's license Class 1/1F/A (Semi-trailer trucks

Job Criteria:

  • Start as soon as possible
  • Prior experience an asset
  • Secondary education required
  • Overnight travel - more than 75%
  • Vacation time - 2 weeks per year
