Cardiology Technologist (Cardio Tech) – Cranbrook, BC

Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated
Cardiology Technologist
to join our diagnostic cardiac services team in
Cranbrook, British Columbia
. In this role, you will perform a range of non-invasive cardiac diagnostic tests, support patient monitoring, and collaborate with cardiologists and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Your expertise will be essential for identifying cardiac abnormalities and ensuring patients receive timely, accurate, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities

• Perform ECGs, Holter monitor setup and analysis, stress tests, and other non-invasive cardiac diagnostic procedures
• Prepare, position, and educate patients on testing procedures to ensure comfort and compliance
• Monitor cardiac tracings and recognize significant abnormalities
• Analyze and interpret test results for cardiologist review
• Maintain and calibrate diagnostic equipment according to standards
• Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and allied health teams to support patient care plans
• Document findings accurately and maintain patient records in accordance with professional and regulatory guidelines
• Prioritize patient safety, confidentiality, and quality standards throughout all procedures

Primarily daytime shifts; scheduling flexibility may be available

Supportive diagnostics environment within hospital-based cardiac services

Requirements – What You'll Bring

Diploma in Cardiology Technology or equivalent

Current registration with
CSCT (Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists)
or eligibility

Experience performing ECGs, Holter monitoring, and stress testing preferred

Strong technical, analytical, and patient-care skills

Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a clinical team

Excellent communication, professionalism, and attention to detail

Commitment to delivering safe, accurate, and patient-focused cardiac diagnostic services
