Temporary Full-Time, 12-month contract (37.5 hours/week)
Salary Range: $93,679 - $117,787 (annual)
Location: Ontario (remote)

You are a driven health and safety professional with a desire to make a difference and possess a passion for education and knowledge sharing. You can actively contribute to an inclusive and psychologically healthy and safe workplace culture by demonstrating compassion, integrity, respect and team spirit. As part of a high-performing team, you will assist clients registered in the WSIB Health and Safety Excellence Program (HSEp) by providing clients with industry specific training, knowledge and expertise in occupational health and safety, supporting their achievement of successful HSEp journey. In addition, you will promote HSEp to prospective (new or returning) clients, and support development of tools, resources, templates, events, and other items that support HSEp firms.

In this role, you will work directly with clients across Ontario's natural resource sectors to assess, strengthen and continuously improve their health and safety management systems. This includes conducting baseline audits, needs analyses, physical condition evaluations, and program reviews, providing clear, practical written recommendations, reviewing and approving action plans and evidence submissions, and attending client sites, including participation in on-site validations. You will act as a trusted advisor, supporting clients through all stages of their Excellence Program journey.

You will also deliver and facilitate health and safety training, Excellence Program meetings, and presentations for clients, industry groups, and advisory or technical committees. You will maintain current knowledge of occupational health and safety legislation, standards, and best practices, contribute feedback to ensure training and program materials remain relevant, and act as a subject matter expert in the development and pilot testing of WSN programs and resources. Collaboration with internal teams, including Marketing and Communications, will support effective promotion and engagement with the Excellence Program.

The ideal candidate brings a university degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, a CRST or CRSP designation (or the ability to obtain), and a minimum of seven years of related occupational health and safety experience. You are a confident facilitator with strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, capable of managing multiple priorities independently in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. This role requires a valid driver's licence, regular travel, and comfort working in industrial settings, with physical demands consistent with consulting, training, and

on-site work.
