Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. Responsibilities

  • Assist dentists during various procedures
  • Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
  • Take and develop dental radiographs
  • Manage patient records accurately using dental software systems
  • Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
  • Ensure patient comfort and address questions or concerns professionally
  • Support front desk duties as a dental receptionist when needed, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
  • Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and medical terminology standards
  • Assist in inventory management of dental supplies and equipment

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in dental assisting, with knowledge of dental procedures, terminology, and infection control standards
  • Familiarity with dental software
  • Experience in orthodontics, pediatrics, or working as a dental receptionist is a plus
  • Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach to patient care
  • Certification or training in dental assisting is highly desirable

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $38.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 35 per week
