Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair and maintenance, with experience in dealership environments a plus. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of automotive systems, including electrical and mechanical components, as well as excellent communication skills to ensure client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostics and repairs on various vehicle systems, including powertrain, transmissions, and automotive electrical systems.
  • Conduct thorough vehicle maintenance and inspections to ensure safety and performance standards are met.
  • Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Interpret schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot issues accurately.
  • Work with Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) as needed for modern vehicles.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with advisors regarding vehicle's needs and repair status.
  • Maintain accurate records of services performed, parts used, and time spent on repairs.
  • Collaborate with team members to enhance service efficiency and effectiveness.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience as an Automotive Service Technician, preferably in a dealership setting is an asset.
  • Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in automotive diagnostics, including the use of diagnostic tools and equipment.
  • Familiarity with Ford vehicles is a plus; experience with diesel engine repair is also desirable.
  • Ability to perform alignment services and understand auto estimating processes.
  • Welding skills are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of work.
  • Strong communication skills to provide outstanding customer service.

Pay: $26.00-$32.00 per hour
