Quantum Passivhaus is seeking an experienced Sales Representative to support our expanding portfolio of high-performance residential, commercial, and deep energy retrofit projects. Since 2017, we have delivered advanced panelized solutions that combine modern prefabrication with leading building-science practices. Position Summary
The Senior Sales Representative plays a pivotal role in driving Quantum's revenue growth and expanding our market presence across residential, multi-residential, commercial, and retrofit sectors. This position demands a dynamic leader who can rapidly build a robust sales pipeline, deliver strong individual sales performance, and cultivate a high-performing team. As both a producer and a coach, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sales initiatives, educating clients on net-zero and Passive House principles, and ensuring an exceptional client experience throughout all phases of the project lifecycle. Your expertise, leadership, and ability to forge strong relationships will directly contribute to Quantum's ongoing growth and success.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
· Sell and promote Quantum's Residential, Multi-Residential, Commercial, and Retrofit projects and kits.
· Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and strategic outreach.
· Undertake market analysis and competitive research to inform pricing, incentives, and business development strategies.
· Support new sales initiatives, including retrofit programs and pre-designed package homes.
· Work with enablement teams to identify emerging opportunities and craft targeted sales pitches.
Client Engagement & Relationship Management
· Educate clients on net-zero construction, Passive House principles, and sustainable building practices.
· Engage with prospective clients to assess needs, budgets, and project requirements, while addressing inquiries and concerns.
· Build and maintain strong, trust-driven relationships with existing and potential clients through proactive account management.
· Manage client expectations through sales, design, budgeting, and construction phases.
Proposal Development & Project Coordination
· Prepare tailored proposals, estimates, and presentations based on client needs.
· Collaborate closely with design and construction teams to translate client requirements into actionable project plans.
· Provide comprehensive representation and consultation on Quantum's building systems and solutions.
Sales Operations & Performance Management
· Track, monitor, and report on sales activities, lead generation, and pipeline status with accuracy and timeliness.
· Own team metrics and ensure all data is maintained accurately in the CRM system.
· Be accountable for overall team productivity while helping train, motivate, and mentor team members.
· Support various departments in client-facing interactions and cross-functional initiatives.
Marketing & Corporate Participation
· Contribute to the development of marketing materials and resources for prospective clients.
· Participate in marketing initiatives and collaborate with internal managers on business development strategies.
· Represent Quantum at industry trade shows, events, and mandatory company functions.
· Attend, lead, and actively contribute to weekly Department Head and inter-departmental meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
Experience
· 4-5 years of experience in sales, business development, or client-facing roles.
· Experience in construction, architecture, engineering, or sustainable building is an asset.
Skills
· Strong expertise in high-performance construction and the ability to communicate net-zero and Passive House concepts with clarity.
· Advanced client engagement and relationship-building skills, with the ability to manage expectations across complex project phases.
· Exceptional organizational discipline with proven ability to manage pipelines, track metrics, and maintain accurate CRM data.
· Strategic thinker with a proactive, self-driven approach to identifying opportunities, developing sales strategies, and supporting team performance.
· Ability to interpret architectural and construction documentation and collaborate effectively with technical, design, and cross-functional teams.
