Job Summary
We are seeking a professional and organized Front Desk Agent to serve as the first point of contact for our clients and visitors. This role involves managing front desk operations, providing exceptional customer service, and supporting administrative functions within a dynamic office environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong clerical skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency with various office software to ensure smooth daily operations.
Duties
- Greet and assist visitors, clients, and staff in a courteous and professional manner
- Manage multi-line phone systems, direct calls, and take detailed messages
- Perform data entry tasks accurately using Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other relevant software
- Handle appointment scheduling and coordinate meetings efficiently
- Maintain organized filing systems, including electronic and paper records
- Support administrative tasks such as proofreading documents, managing correspondence, and preparing reports
- Assist with bookkeeping activities using QuickBooks or similar accounting software
- Provide customer support via phone and in person, ensuring excellent phone etiquette and organizational skills
- Support medical or dental office operations if applicable, including patient check-in/out procedures and insurance documentation
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office administration, clerical work, or front desk roles
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), Google Workspace, and data entry tools
- Experience with QuickBooks or bookkeeping is a plus
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy in proofreading and filing
- Exceptional customer service skills with professional phone etiquette
- Ability to handle multi-line phone systems efficiently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Previous experience in medical or dental office environments is advantageous but not required
- Strong typing skills with the ability to perform quick data entry tasks efficiently
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to $22.00 per hour
