Northstar Ford is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Finance Manager to support our Business Office and Sales team.

This role is responsible for proactively engaging with past and current customers regarding warranty and protection products, supporting finance operations, and providing coverage for the Finance Managers in both our Calgary and Cochrane locations as needed.

The ideal candidate is customer-focused, compliance-driven, and experienced in automotive finance or dealership operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional, high-quality customer service
  • Manage and finalize finance deals accurately and on time
  • Present and sell the full range of F&I products
  • Ensure timely funding, lien payouts, and complete documentation
  • Support Sales Consultants and Managers to maximize each sale
  • Provide overflow and vacation coverage for Finance Managers across our South locations
  • Mine customer data for warranty and FMPP opportunities
  • Assist with F&I training and ensure compliance with dealership and Ford standards

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the automotive business in a sales capacity preferred
  • Strong understanding of credit, lending, and finance documentation
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong ethical standards and commitment to compliance
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to support sales staff

We are closed Sundays and you will get one long weekend per month off and one weekday.
