As we continue to grow, we are seeking a highly motivated, dynamic, and results-driven VP, Marketing (Brand & Corporate) to lead our corporate marketing strategy and execution. This is a high-visibility leadership role, where you will shape Bond's brand narrative, elevate market recognition, drive marketing-led demand generation, and empower business leaders with strategies that achieve Bond's growth objectives.
This role is pivotal in shaping Bond's next chapter and is ideal for a VP, Marketing who is driven to make a transformative impact, lead high-profile initiatives, and influence the strategic direction of a growing, innovative organization. Reporting to the Chief Growth Officer (CGO), you will collaborate closely with peers across the company to ensure marketing is seamlessly integrated into Bond's broader offerings and proactively aligned with our clients' evolving needs.
Location: This is a hybrid role for candidates based in the Greater Toronto Area (Ontario, Canada). We are also open to exceptional U.S. based candidates seeking a remote opportunity.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership & Analytical Skills
- Develop and deliver the corporate marketing strategy and plans, aligning with short- and long-term business objectives using a client-centric approach.
- Apply strong analytical skills to conduct market research, interpret data, and implement insight-driven strategies that drive measurable impact.
- Partner with the CGO and executive leadership to shape corporate growth strategies, market expansion priorities, and innovation initiatives that position Bond as a leader in loyalty and engagement solutions.
Demand Generation
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of marketing-qualified leads, contacts, and a comprehensive prospect database.
- Drive account-based marketing programs that accelerate growth in existing accounts and expand into new markets.
- Collaborate with sales leadership to ensure seamless lead handoff, maximize conversion rates, and achieve defined revenue targets.
Brand Enhancement
- Define and execute Bond's brand positioning across all channels to boost market recognition and strengthen brand equity.
- Oversee the development of compelling brand narratives and campaigns that differentiate Bond in competitive markets.
- Ensure brand consistency and alignment across corporate communications, marketing initiatives, and client-facing materials.
Business Alignment
- Partner with business leaders to understand evolving priorities and integrate marketing strategies that meet practice and client leadership needs.
- Align marketing efforts with corporate growth goals to increase Bond's win rate and market share.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to business units, providing insight and recommendations on market positioning and client engagement.
Strategic Partnerships & Alliances
- Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic alliances and partnerships to expand market reach, enhance brand positioning, and drive joint go-to-market initiatives.
- Develop co-marketing programs with partners that generate measurable pipeline and brand visibility.
- Build long-term, high-value relationships that contribute to Bond's growth objectives.
Innovation and Adaptability
- Stay ahead of marketing trends, technologies, and best practices to maintain competitive advantage.
- Pilot innovative marketing approaches and emerging tools that enhance audience engagement and campaign performance.
- Lead the marketing organization in adopting agile strategies that respond to market shifts and client needs.
Marketing Operations Excellence
- Oversee marketing operations, including process optimization, governance, KPI tracking, and compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Establish frameworks that improve efficiency, scalability, and cross-functional alignment.
- Continuously evaluate and improve operational workflows to maximize ROI and business impact.
Marketing Technology Leadership
- Lead the strategy, integration, and optimization of marketing technology platforms.
- Ensure seamless alignment with sales and analytics systems for unified data insights and reporting.
- Drive innovation through the adoption of emerging tools that enable personalization, automation, and performance measurement.
Budget Management
- Design, review, and optimize the marketing department's budget to ensure effective resource allocation.
- Maximize ROI by prioritizing high-impact initiatives and tracking financial performance.
- Provide transparent reporting to leadership on budget utilization and outcomes.
Team Leadership & Development
- Lead and inspire a diverse, high-performing marketing team, fostering a culture of mentorship, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Build team capabilities through coaching, development programs, and exposure to strategic projects.
- Champion innovation, accountability, and results-driven performance across the marketing organization.
Your Background:
- Proven executive-level marketing leadership experience in B2B environments, preferably within professional services, loyalty, technology, or similar industries; agency background is a strong asset.
- Track record of building and executing corporate brand strategies that deliver measurable market recognition, pipeline growth, and revenue impact.
- Expertise in marketing operations and technology, including budget management, KPI tracking, process optimization, governance/compliance, and hands-on experience with CRM, marketing automation, and analytics platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce).
- Demonstrated ability to lead, scale, and inspire high-performing teams while fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, analytical skills, and success in cross-functional collaboration, influencing senior stakeholders to align marketing with corporate and business goals.
- Experience developing and managing strategic partnerships, alliances, or co-marketing initiatives that deliver measurable business impact.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to represent brand and corporate vision to both internal and external audiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field (MBA preferred) and/or equivalent senior-level B2B marketing experience.
