Qualifications

  • Experience in on site installation of projects is considered an asset
  • A minimum of 2 years of road/ field experience
  • Willing to learn new skills
  • Ability to follow direction and work as a collaborative team
  • CWB certification considered an asset and experience in mild steel fabrication
  • Clean driving record
  • Comfortable working at heights, indoor and outdoor environments, and confined spaces
  • ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • A desire to grow in the industry as a respected professional and part of a modern collaborative team
  • Strong leadership, organizational and communication skills

Responsibilities & Duties of your Future Role:

  • Reports directly to millwright foreman
  • Installing new equipment, process lines, retro fits, and custom builds
  • Ability to listen to direction, and complete given tasks with efficiency and quality workmanship
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision when needed
  • Communicate with associates and customers with a level respect and professionalism always
  • Responsible to work safely and follow health and safety policies always
  • Able to maintain daily and weekly deadlines for a project
  • Interpret and read drawings
  • Maintaining Quality work and a clean job site
  • Completing time sheets accurately and accounting for all parts
  • Strong problem solving/ troubleshooting abilities
  • Welding - primarily SMAW
  • Rigging
  • Maintenance and service work when needed
  • Ability to work some scheduled weekends to complete a project

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour
