Who are you?
You are an experienced Document Control with 8+ years of post-graduate experience looking for the next step or are currently undertaking a similar role in a similar environment.
Job DescriptionAs a Document Control, you will be involved in:
- Implements an effective document management system for the storage, retrieval and use of all documents using InEight
- Prepare management information reports & disseminate information using InEight software
- Creation and management of Document Control Processes
- Manages effective communication of outputs to all stakeholders
- Supports the change management and contract processes across the program
- Ensure that document storage aligns to policy and procedures for the organization and meets contractual obligations
- Facilitate the generation and maintenance of Document Registers and Transmittal Records as appropriate.
- Maintain and update technical progress trackers.
- Quality check documents to project/company standards.
- Maintain accurate & timely records in InEight
- Identify opportunities for improvements to procedures, processes, systems and documents.
- Managing mailing or distribution lists as needed.
- Proven experience in InEight document control and system implementation on construction projects.
- Experience customizing InEight to meet business needs.
- Strong background in creating and managing Document Control Processes
- Solid understanding of version control, system testing, troubleshooting, and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with ISO standards and regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across teams.
- Knowledge of digital transformation strategies and secure document management practices.
- Certification in project management or system implementation methodologies is an asset
