Hybrid, 2 days in office (located in Etobicoke)

Duration: 1 month to start, possible extension (approx 35 hrs/week)

Rate: $40-50/hr.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead creative packaging design across diverse categories and formats
  • Translate briefs into compelling, strategic design solutions
  • Execute high-level concepts with precision and originality
  • Solve complex packaging systems with a brand-first mindset
  • Guide adaptive design rollouts for large-scale programs
  • Develop and present design concepts, storyboards, and decks
  • Champion design integrity across all project phases
  • Art direct photo shoots and oversee visual execution
  • Mentor junior and intermediate designers
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with creative and account teams
  • Manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines
  • Conduct competitive audits and build case studies
  • Participate in brainstorms and establish creative territories
  • Strategic thinker with CPG experience
  • Knowledgeable in packaging print processes and limitations
  • Strong communicator with presentation skills

Skills And Experience Requirement

  • Degree/Diploma in Graphic, Communication, or Packaging Design
  • 6+ years in a packaging studio or creative agency
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)
  • Comfortable with Mac OS, Keynote, Word, and Excel
