The Opportunity

We are looking for a Customer Service Specialist who brings professionalism, accuracy, and a strong sense of ownership. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow, learn, and contribute meaningfully within a lean and dynamic servicing team.

What You'll Be Doing


• Responding to client inquiries by phone and email with professionalism and empathy.


• Assisting clients with payment arrears.


• Coordinating and processing mortgage payout requests and discharge documentation.


• Communicating with external partners such as Computershare and FCT.


• Maintaining accurate records and notes in our servicing system (LMS - mortgage system).


• Proactively flagging issues or patterns that could impact client satisfaction.


• Assisting with ongoing process improvements and team efficiencies.

What You Bring


• 2+ years of experience in financial services, ideally in mortgage or loan servicing.


• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.


• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).


• Experience handling confidential or sensitive client information.


• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while staying organized.


• Strong follow-up and task management skills to ensure nothing falls through the cracks.


• Ability to remain calm, professional, and solution-focused during challenging situations.


• Strong judgment and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve routine servicing issues independently.


• Familiarity with LMS (mortgage system).


• Experience with mortgages, property taxes, and discharge processes is an asset.


• Ability to thrive in a lean team environment where collaboration and urgency are critical to success.
