About The Role
As a CBRE Assistant Property Manager, you will manage a variety of financial activities for a large market to drive financial performance and client satisfaction.

This job is part of the Property Management job function. They are responsible for operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.

What You'll Do

  • Support Regional and Client Operations. Coordinate and oversee administrative, financial, and process improvement functions across client accounts, and departmental scopes.
  • Cross-Functional liaison which serves as a key point of contact between property management, client accounting services, and senior leadership to ensure alignment and operational continuity.
  • Financial Oversight. Lead the preparation of annual budgets, monthly financial reports, and adhoc financial projects. Handle vendor invoice coding, billing, expense reports, and accounts receivable processes with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Contract and Budget Management. Assist in the oversight of service contracts, vendor performance, and budget adherence. Management of business planning to support procurement processes and ensure alignment with financial targets and operational standards.
  • Performance Monitoring. Analyze financial and operational metrics, including Accounts Receivable, Income, and pipeline data to identify trends and recommend strategies for improved profitability.
  • Support the implementation and tracking of sustainability programs, including energy efficiency, waste reduction, and tenant engagement in green practices. Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to meet ESG goals.
  • Lead the planning and execution of tenant engagement initiatives, events, and communications. Foster strong tenant relationships through responsive service and proactive outreach.
  • Schedule and facilitate internal compliance reviews. Communicate findings and collaborate with management to implement corrective actions and enhance operational compliance.
  • Act as a primary resource for internal and external client inquiries, resolving complex issues with professionalism and responsiveness.
  • Apply working knowledge of standard principles, procedures, and techniques to complete tasks and resolve routine challenges effectively.
  • Demonstrate broad expertise in property management functions and a working understanding of adjacent disciplines to support cross-functional collaboration.
  • Model CBRE RISE values in daily interactions. Influence others through example and foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and service.
  • Contribute to the quality and consistency of team deliverables, supporting a high-performance environment.
  • Operate within established procedures and timelines to meet objectives and deliver results.

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
  • Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
  • Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

Equal Pay Disclaimer:
CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Assistant Property Manager position is $87 ,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Assistant Property Manager position is $92,000 annually. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program.
