Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while transporting goods across various routes. This role requires experience with different types of trucks, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, and tankers. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
Must have DZ and Z license
Clean driving record and CVOR
Clean Insurance History - minor issue negotiable
Duties
- Operate straight trucks with tailgate and pump truck
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Load and unload freight as necessary, ensuring proper handling of goods.
- Follow designated routes for timely deliveries while maintaining accurate logs of hours driven.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the truck.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies during operations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of commercial driving regulations and best practices.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures including loading and unloading techniques.
- Capable of route driving with excellent navigation skills.
