Role Description
The Transportation Operations Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Brantford, ON. This role involves overseeing daily transportation and operational processes to ensure efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include managing transportation logistics, coordinating with staff and drivers, optimizing operations, and maintaining compliance with regulations. The role also includes analyzing metrics to improve performance and collaborating with supply chain teams to streamline operations.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Transportation Operations, Operations Management, and Transportation Management
- Experience in Customer Service and a proven track record of maintaining client satisfaction within transportation services
- Knowledge of Supply Chain Management including logistics planning, inventory control, and distribution
- Highly developed organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Exceptional leadership abilities with experience in managing and mentoring teams
- Proficiency in analyzing operational data for performance optimization
- Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in the transportation and logistics industry
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field is preferred
