Job Overview
As a Long Term Care Assistant (LTCA), you will work with a team of highly skilled professionals who together provide exceptional care for our residents. Our LTCA team is responsible for various duties throughout the home that support residents with programs, dining, and light housekeeping. LTCAs also add comfort to residents through friendship and conversation. At MacLeod Cares you can expect to receive mentorship, training, and opportunities for professional growth whether you are just starting your career or have demonstrated a lifelong love for helping others. Do you possess:
- A grade 12 education or non-academic equivalent
- Previous experience in senior care, group home or in-home care
- Compassion
- A positive attitude
- A sincere desire to work with the elderly
