*Roles and Responsibilities*
- Coordinate and dispatch trucks hauling pipe, equipment, and various materials to oilfield sites across Alberta and BC.
- Schedule and assign daily loads to drivers, ensuring efficient routes and accurate delivery times.
- Communicate with drivers throughout the day to monitor progress, provide updates, and resolve issues as they arise.
- Work closely with customer reps, rig crews, and yard personnel to confirm load details, site access, and safety requirements.
- Prepare and verify load orders, BOLs, and any customer-specific paperwork.
- Ensure all loads (including pipe, mats, equipment, and flat-deck freight) are secured and compliant with transport regulations.
- Track unit locations, driver availability, hours of service, and equipment readiness.
- Respond quickly to changing priorities, emergency call-outs, and last-minute customer requests.
- Maintain clear, professional communication with customers regarding ETAs, delays, and job status.
- Support drivers with directions, site contacts, safety protocols, and special hauling instructions.
- Enter job details accurately into dispatch software and ensure proper documentation for billing.
- Collaborate with operations, safety, and shop teams to report issues and ensure safe, efficient operations.
- Manage after-hours or on-call dispatch rotation as needed.
- Knowledge of BC/AB/SK Permitting
This is a fast-paced position, which could have overtime and weekend work as required. A person in this position can expect to answer upwards of 50 calls a day.
-Minimum of 3 years of Oilfield Dispatch experience in the trucking industry is required

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
