INNOVATIVE SPECIALIZED HAULING & STORAGE SERVICES: Highway Hauling, Heavy Hauling, Oilfield Hauling, Tubular Storage, Rig Moving, Hotshot Services, Pipeline Hauling

*Roles and Responsibilities*

  • Coordinate and dispatch trucks hauling pipe, equipment, and various materials to oilfield sites across Alberta and BC.
  • Schedule and assign daily loads to drivers, ensuring efficient routes and accurate delivery times.
  • Communicate with drivers throughout the day to monitor progress, provide updates, and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Work closely with customer reps, rig crews, and yard personnel to confirm load details, site access, and safety requirements.
  • Prepare and verify load orders, BOLs, and any customer-specific paperwork.
  • Ensure all loads (including pipe, mats, equipment, and flat-deck freight) are secured and compliant with transport regulations.
  • Track unit locations, driver availability, hours of service, and equipment readiness.
  • Respond quickly to changing priorities, emergency call-outs, and last-minute customer requests.
  • Maintain clear, professional communication with customers regarding ETAs, delays, and job status.
  • Support drivers with directions, site contacts, safety protocols, and special hauling instructions.
  • Enter job details accurately into dispatch software and ensure proper documentation for billing.
  • Collaborate with operations, safety, and shop teams to report issues and ensure safe, efficient operations.
  • Manage after-hours or on-call dispatch rotation as needed.
  • Knowledge of BC/AB/SK Permitting

This is a fast-paced position, which could have overtime and weekend work as required. A person in this position can expect to answer upwards of 50 calls a day.

-Minimum of 3 years of Oilfield Dispatch experience in the trucking industry is required

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
