We Are Hiring English Phonics Teachers

We are looking for dedicated, enthusiastic, and professionally qualified English Phonics Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have strong experience in early literacy instruction and a genuine commitment to helping students develop essential reading and phonemic awareness skills.

Position Requirements:

  • OCT certification required (Ontario Certified Teacher)
  • Minimum of three years of teaching experience in a public or private school setting
  • Strong knowledge of phonics instruction, early reading development, and effective literacy teaching strategies
  • Patient, responsible, and engaging, with the ability to build a positive and supportive classroom atmosphere
  • Capable of adapting lesson plans to meet various student needs and learning styles
  • Strong communication skills and a commitment to ongoing professional growth

Job Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver comprehensive phonics lessons that support students' reading, spelling, and pronunciation skills
  • Use a variety of teaching methods and resources to create an interactive and motivating learning environment
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support
  • Maintain organized lesson plans, records, and classroom management practices
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with parents, colleagues, and school administrators
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to refine curriculum materials and participate in professional development activities
