  • Collaborate with developers to define test cases and acceptance criteria for key payment features.
  • Assist in maintaining and updating the existing manual test suite, incorporating new test scenarios based on product changes and team feedback.
  • Document and report bugs, edge cases and inconsistencies with clear reproduction steps, contributing to detailed test case repositories and overall test documentation.
  • Ensure QA practices align with financial industry regulations, including PCI DSS and MPoC compliance requirements.
  • Support release readiness and deployment verification, participating in quality gate reviews and conducting post-release testing in live environments.
  • Contribute to defect triage and root cause analysis, providing actionable feedback to improve product reliability and user experience.
  • Support the development of automation foundations, with a clear path to progressively owning test automation strategy, scripting, and CI/CD integration.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of experience in QA testing, preferably within fintech or mobile technology environment.
  • Strong experience designing and executing manual and exploratory tests for mobile and contactless payment flows on SoftPOS-enabled devices.
  • Strong understanding of compliance frameworks such as PCI DSS and MPoC, with a willingness to deepen expertise in payment system testing.
  • Experience using test management and bug tracking tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or Zephyr.
  • Experience testing across Android, Windows, and Linux operating systems.
  • Exposure to SDK testing and integration validation.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, and a basic understanding of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience supporting DevOps practices, including setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and supporting release processes.
  • Exposure to automation and testing tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright, with a desire to grow automation skills.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross functional teams.
