Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a Floor Care Technician to join our team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various floors in commercial buildings during the overnight shift.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine floor maintenance tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Operate floor cleaning equipment such as scrubbers, buffers, and extractors
- Remove stains and spots from carpets and hard surfaces
- Ensure all spills and debris are promptly cleaned to prevent accidents and maintain a safe environment
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while using cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate supervisor
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment
- Follow specific instructions and procedures for each building and floor type
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet tight deadlines and maintain high standards of cleanliness
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all tasks are completed within the designated time frame
- Communicate any issues or concerns to the supervisor in a timely manner

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in floor care or janitorial services preferred
- Knowledge of different types of flooring and appropriate cleaning methods
- Ability to operate floor cleaning equipment and tools
- Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and their safe usage
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Good time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work overnight shifts and weekends as needed
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift heavy objects for extended periods of time
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
