The Opportunity
We are hiring an Associate Wealth Advisor to play a central role in client advisory. You will lead the tactical engine of financial planning while progressively growing into co-leading client relationships.
This is not a back-office role. It is a direct path into advisory, designed for someone ready to take initiative, dive deep, and grow quickly with mentorship, structure, and support. You will be coached on complex, multi-generational wealth scenarios and supported with licensing, education, and tools to accelerate your development into a lead advisor.
What You'll Do
Wealth Planning & Analysis
- Develop, update, and enhance wealth plans spanning cash flow, retirement, estate, investment, insurance, tax, and philanthropic planning.
- Collaborate on advanced planning for entrepreneurs, executives, and multi-generational families.
Client Engagement & Communication
- Prepare for and contribute to client meetings, including agendas, planning decks, and post-meeting follow-up.
- Build confidence in progressively presenting planning segments during client meetings.
Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain accurate and timely regulatory documentation (KYC, KYP, IPS, etc.).
- Support documentation for client risk tolerance, suitability, and engagement tracking.
Insurance & Risk Management
- Assist in needs analyses, proposal preparation, and case submissions.
- Complete LLQP licensing and support client discussions on insurance strategy.
Process & Improvement
- Contribute to internal workflow enhancements, planning templates, and delivery systems to elevate our client experience.
What You Bring
You are a client-first professional with a strong foundation in financial services and a desire to grow into a lead advisory role. You are proactive, thoughtful, and driven to do high-quality work. You enjoy working closely with clients, learning from experienced mentors, and contributing to a collaborative and growth-oriented team.
Minimum Requirements
- 5+ years in financial services (wealth management, financial planning, or accounting).
- CSC completed and eligible for registration with a CIRO-member dealer.
- Strong interest in becoming a CFP professional or already on the path.
- Strong client service skills that are responsive, accurate, and composed under pressure.
- Clear written and verbal communication with confidence in client follow-ups and meeting preparation.
- Ability to manage details and workflows while staying focused on client outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications
- Progress toward or completion of the CFP designation.
- CIM and/or CPA designations are a strong asset.
- Experience with insurance, accounting, or reviewing corporate financials.
- Proficiency with Conquest or Naviplan, and strong Excel capability.
- Comfort contributing in meetings and gradually taking ownership of client conversations.
- Interest in guiding clients through investment suitability, asset allocation, and portfolio construction.
- Aptitude for developing trust with high-net-worth clients and professional partners.
