Richmond, British Columbia, Canada Engaged Full time

Who We Are

Tourism Richmond is the heartbeat of Richmond, BC's visitor economy — a bold, collaborative force showcasing everything that makes our city an unforgettable place to live, work, and explore. As a non-profit destination marketing organization, we work with local businesses, tourism leaders, and the City to promote Richmond as a must-visit part of Metro Vancouver.

Guided by our EPIC values — Excellence, Passion, Integrity, and Collaboration — we're not just promoting tourism; we're shaping its future. From achieving Carbon Neutral and Rainbow Registered status to launching regenerative tourism grants, and with a world-class destination brand underpinning it all, we're committed to creating meaningful, positive impact in our community and beyond. At Tourism Richmond, we believe tourism can be a powerful driver of change — and we're here to lead the way.

About The Role

Join Tourism Richmond as our Data Analyst, Digital Insights and help keep our marketing data ecosystem running smoothly. In this role, you will support teams by collecting, organizing, and maintaining data from platforms like Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta, WordPress, and MailChimp, ensuring everything is accurately tracked and easy to access. You will help build and update dashboards, assist with campaign and website reporting, monitor industry trends, and lend a hand with CRM and email administration. Your knack for learning new tools, keeping details in order, and presenting information clearly will make you a valued partner across the department. If you enjoy managing data behind the scenes, exploring digital tools, and supporting meaningful tourism initiatives, this role offers a great blend of analytics and administrative work.

This is a full-time, permanent hybrid position that requires in-office work at least three times per week. The salary range is $52,000-$57,000 and includes a robust RRSP program and a comprehensive benefits package.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Support reporting from Tourism Richmond's digital marketing platforms such as Google Marketing Platform (Google Analytics, Google Ads, DV360, etc.), Meta Business Suite, and MailChimp, including maintaining accurate tracking through tools such as Google Tag Manager, pixels, and UTM parameters.
  • Assist with data collection, analysis, and dashboard development (e.g., Power BI or Looker Studio) for campaign, website, and executive reporting, ensuring automation and consistency across data sources.
  • Collaborate with marketing, web, and agency partners to ensure analytics tagging, campaign tracking, and audience data integrations function properly across systems.
  • Monitor economic, industry and business, consumer, competitors, and market trends and developments to inform destination management, development and promotion, and strategic planning.

What You Will Bring

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Business Analytics, Marketing, Computer Science, or equivalent training/experience.
  • 2 years of data analysis experience in marketing data analysis, digital analytics, and/or performance reporting.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, and Google Looker Studio is preferred.
  • Knowledge of PowerBI and SQL is strongly preferred.
  • Proficient in working with data analytic/reporting tools such as Google Workspace, Google Tag Manager, UTM tracking, pixel implementation, and MS Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Forward-thinking, proactive, resourceful, and a positive, helpful attitude.
