Job Summary

We are seeking a knowledgeable and personable Pawn Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will manage pawn transactions, evaluate items, and provide exceptional customer service. This role requires strong communication skills, sales acumen, and the ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently. Bilingual abilities and experience with retail sales or merchandising are highly valued to enhance client interactions and operational success.

Duties

• Evaluate and appraise items brought in for pawn or sale, ensuring accurate assessments of value.
• Assist customers with pawn loans, sales, and buy-sell transactions using POS systems.
• Conduct product demos and explain features to customers to facilitate sales and upselling opportunities.
• Maintain organized merchandise displays and ensure the store environment is welcoming and professional.
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering product recommendations, and maintaining positive relationships.
• Manage time effectively to ensure smooth daily operations and customer flow.
• Promote store merchandise through merchandising strategies and suggestive selling techniques.
• Uphold store policies regarding security, confidentiality, and compliance with legal standards.

Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00-$20.00 per hour
