The Fantasia Academy of Music is looking for a piano instructor, who can ideally also teach other instruments or voice. However, the ability to teach additional instruments is not a requirement.

Qualifications:

  • ARCT Diploma or post-secondary music education
  • Minimum 1 year teaching experience
  • Patient and kind with students
  • Can travel to students' locations in and close to Vancouver
  • Experience or knowledge of teaching online (e.g. through Zoom)
  • Responsible and punctual

Assets:

  • Can teach other instruments/voice in addition to piano (preferred but not required)
  • Bilingual/multi-lingual - can teach in a language other than English (e.g. Mandarin/Cantonese, Punjabi, Hindi etc.)
  • Experience teaching adults as well as children

In-person lessons are primarily taught at students' locations. Therefore, the teacher should have access to a car or another form of transportation.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $35.00-$45.00 per hour
