This is a fantastic opportunity to start your career as an Agriculture Service Technician utilize state of the art ag technology and be part of the future of agriculture. Our Apprentices will participate in on-the-job training and are committed to delivering exceptional service to our customers by diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining agricultural and turf equipment. Responsibilities

  • Inspect, diagnose, repair and service agricultural equipment with a commitment to customer support and pride in workmanship
  • Use specialized tools, cutting edge technology, and innovative solutions to diagnose and complete complex repairs
  • Perform preventative maintenance activities as per documented schedules/standards on equipment and related components
  • Gain knowledge of John Deere agriculture products
  • Use diagnostic tools and computer functions
  • Attend & participate in: Apprenticeship training, John Deere University training and dealer-led training to further develop skills and technical capabilities

Requirements

  • Have a positive attitude & demonstrate a willingness to learn and succeed
  • Be mechanically minded, and have experience performing service repairs/maintenance
  • May currently be an Apprentice in a mechanical field or have the drive to become an apprentice
  • Having knowledge and familiarity with John Deere and competitive products would be considered an asset
  • High School Diploma/equivalent
