Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. As a Server, you will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Duties

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and timely manner.
  • Take accurate food and drink orders using the POS system, preferably Micros POS.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly while ensuring quality and presentation standards are met.
  • Provide excellent guest services by addressing any questions or concerns regarding the menu or dining experience.
  • Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and basic math calculations for bill processing.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area, adhering to food safety guidelines.
  • Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring all items are prepared according to safety standards.
  • Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and effective communication throughout service.
  • Manage time efficiently during busy shifts to ensure all guests receive prompt attention.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience preferred but not mandatory
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with guests.
  • Familiarity with food handling practices and sanitation regulations.
  • Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables effectively during peak hours.
  • Basic math skills for accurate bill calculations and cash handling.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure under pressure.
  • A team player who is willing to assist colleagues as needed for smooth operations in the restaurant.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$18.00 per hour
