Leading manufacturer in coated films, specialty films, and flexible packaging materials, is seeking a skilled Regional Sales Manager to expand their presence across Eastern Canada. This position is ideal for a technical sales professional who excels in long sales cycles, product qualification/testing, and negotiating large-scale supply agreements with converters.

You'll work hands-on with customers to support converting applications involving adhesion, PSA coatings, release liners, print performance, and film gauge tolerance while collaborating closely with R&D and production teams.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy focused on tape converters, label manufacturers, and specialty packaging partners across Ontario and the Eastern provinces.
  • Manage a complex technical sales process involving product trials, performance validation, and customer approval.
  • Support application engineering needs, including adhesion testing, coating performance, film tolerances, and printability.
  • Build strong, consultative relationships with converters, OEMs, and distributors.
  • Lead negotiations for bulk purchase contracts, multi-year supply agreements, and pricing structures.
  • Work cross-functionally with R&D, Materials Science, Quality, and Operations to align product capabilities with customer needs.
  • Track territory activity, including forecasting, pipeline development, and competitor intelligence.
  • Represent the company at trade events, customer visits, and technical presentations.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Packaging Engineering, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 5+ years in technical sales within coated films, specialty films, pressure-sensitive adhesives (PSA), or converting materials.
  • Proven success managing long-cycle B2B sales, product qualification, and performance-driven trials.
  • Experience negotiating bulk purchase agreements and long-term supply contracts.
  • Strong technical understanding of adhesives, coatings, release liners, printing processes, and converting operations.
  • Excellent relationship management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel across Eastern and Atlantic Canada (up to 40%).

Un leader dans le domaine des films enduits, films spécialisés et matériaux d'emballage flexible recherche un Gestionnaire Régional des Ventes pour accroître sa présence à travers l'Est du Canada. Ce poste s'adresse à un professionnel des ventes techniques ayant de l'expérience avec des cycles de vente longs, la qualification et les essais de produits, ainsi que la négociation de contrats d'approvisionnement à grande échelle auprès de convertisseurs et d'OEM.

Vous travaillerez directement avec les clients pour soutenir les applications de conversion liées à l'adhésion, aux revêtements PSA, aux pellicules de libération, à la performance d'impression et à la tolérance d'épaisseur du film, tout en collaborant étroitement avec les équipes de R&D et de production.

Vos responsabilités

  • Développer et exécuter une stratégie de vente ciblant les convertisseurs de rubans adhésifs, les fabricants d'étiquettes et les transformateurs d'emballages spécialisés en Ontario et dans les provinces de l'Est.
  • Gérer un processus de vente technique complexe comprenant les essais de produits, la validation de performance et l'approbation finale par le client.
  • Soutenir les besoins en ingénierie d'application : tests d'adhésion, performance des revêtements, tolérances de film et imprimabilité.
  • Établir et maintenir des relations solides et consultatives avec les convertisseurs, OEM et distributeurs.
  • Diriger la négociation de contrats d'achats en vrac, d'accords d'approvisionnement pluriannuels et de structures de prix.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes de R&D, science des matériaux, qualité et opérations pour aligner les capacités des produits sur les exigences des clients.
  • Suivre l'activité du territoire : prévisions, développement du pipeline, intelligence concurrentielle.
  • Représenter l'entreprise lors d'événements industriels, de visites clients et de présentations techniques.

Votre profil

  • Baccalauréat en génie de l'emballage, science des matériaux, génie chimique, science des polymères ou domaine technique connexe.
  • 5 ans ou plus d'expérience en vente technique dans les films enduits, les films spécialisés, les adhésifs sensibles à la pression (PSA) ou les matériaux de conversion.
  • Succès démontré dans la gestion de cycles de vente B2B longs, de qualifications de produits et d'essais techniques.
  • Expérience dans la négociation de contrats d'achats en vrac et d'accords d'approvisionnement à long terme.
  • Solide compréhension technique des adhésifs, revêtements, pellicules de libération, procédés d'impression et opérations de conversion.
  • Excellentes aptitudes en gestion des relations, communication et résolution de problèmes.
  • Disponibilité pour voyager à travers l'Est et l'Atlantique du Canada (jusqu'à 40 %).
