Instrumentation Field Technician

Global Analyzer Systems, an Alliance Technical Group company, is hiring an experienced Instrumentation Field Technician to join our dynamic field services team. If you're passionate about environmental technology, enjoy hands-on work, and thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment—this role is for you

Travel Requirement: This role involves frequent travel, typically ranging from 1 to 3 weeks per month, depending on project needs and client site locations.

What You'll Do:

  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS)
  • Work with DAS, PLCs (Allen Bradley, Modicon), and gas analyzers
  • Travel to client sites across the province (1–3 weeks/month)
  • Support project documentation, testing, and client training
  • Participate in safety and quality programs

What You Bring:

  • Instrumentation or Automation background including technical diploma, trade, or BSc
  • 3+ years of field service experience
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license & clean driving record
  • Comfortable with heights and lifting up to 50 lbs
  • Strong mechanical, troubleshooting, and computer skills
