Meat Wrapper

Four Rivers Co-op is hiring a Permanent Full-time MEAT WRAPPER Please note this is a seven-day operation and will require weekends. 

Location: Vanderhoof, BC

Job Overview: Reporting to the Meat Manager you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining Four Rivers Co-op's high standards for customer service

• Working co-operatively with team members

• Merchandising meat counters and fixtures

• Receiving and ensuring correct storage of merchandise

• Ensuring accurate rotation of meat products

• Keeping sales floor organized and clean

• General housekeeping duties

What You Bring:

• Knowledge of food safe handling practices and sanitation protocols

• Must be willing and able to work in a refrigerated environment on a daily basis

• Adaptable, organized, efficient and committed

• Be a team member with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills

• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple demands

• A commitment to quality and an eye for detail

• Appropriate computer skills and technical knowledge

• Able to lift up to 50lbs as required

• Retail experience in a similar position would be considered an asset

• You're honest and trustworthy, are results-oriented and strive to be the best in what you do.
