Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Manager to lead diverse initiatives in heavy construction projects. This individual needs to be qualified to operate an excavator, read laser levels and can navigate blue print. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of projects, ensuring they align with strategic goals and are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. You will be required to ensure information is accurately presented to the CEO/COO.

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end project management lifecycle, including scope definition, planning, scheduling, resource allocation, risk management, and quality assurance.
  • Quote jobs, and qualify to fill out tenders.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution while managing dependencies and resolving conflicts proactively.
  • Implement and oversee project management including risk assessment and highest quality completion of work.
  • Monitor project performance using earned value management techniques and adjust plans accordingly to meet scope, schedule, and budget targets.
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts to ensure deliverables meet quality standards while controlling costs in conjunction with the CEO/COO of the company.
  • Prepare detailed reports on project status, risks, and outcomes for executive leadership and team members.

Skills

  • Strong leadership skills with a proven track record in supervising teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in fast-paced environments.
  • Expertise in requirements gathering, process mapping, business process modeling, and scope management.
  • Skilled in risk management techniques including risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Effective communication skills for presenting complex information clearly to diverse audiences as well as the executive team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
