Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. This included work for Mr. Rooter Edmonton, Calgary, and potentially other related companies. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Developing and scheduling social media content
  • Monthly newsletters
  • Creative for some physical and digital assets
  • Managing marketing vendor relations
  • Other marketing initiatives as required

Duties

  • Develop and implement engaging social media strategies across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
  • Monitor marketing campaigns for performance
  • Create, curate, and manage published content (images, video, written) that aligns with brand messaging.
  • Monitor social media channels for trends and audience engagement; respond to comments and messages in a timely manner.
  • Conduct research to identify new opportunities for content creation and audience engagement.
  • Analyze social media metrics to assess the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends in digital marketing, e-commerce, SEO, and social media best practices.
  • Proofread all content before publication to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in social media management and digital marketing.
  • Strong research skills with the ability to identify relevant trends and insights.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (especially Adobe Illustrator) for graphic design tasks.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles and e-commerce strategies is a plus.
  • Excellent proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
