Rockstar Music is a network of university-educated musicians, teachers and recording industry professionals. We provide private lessons as well as community-based music programs, such as Parent & Tots, Daycares, and Montessori Schools.

We are currently looking for an Early Childhood Music Instructor to join our team. If you have experience teaching pre-instrumental music to toddlers, please submit your application

Requirements:

  • Access to a reliable vehicle to get to and from lessons
  • Reliable, patient, open-minded and enjoy working with children
  • Able to work independently with limited to no supervision
  • Able to teach technique and repertoire in a fun, engaging manner
  • BA Music or completion of ARCT is considered an asset
  • ECEs & Ontario Certified Teachers are encouraged with rate premiums

Responsibilities:

  • Encourage the joy of making music
  • Help students develop the discipline and commitment required for success
  • Make learning just as fun as making music itself
  • Building a strong relationship with the students to better help them succeed
  • Give brief feedback to parents at the end of every lesson
