Your Role

As part of the team, you will:

  • Carry out and supervise infrastructure design;
  • Perform structural modeling;
  • Conduct calculations and checks necessary for sound design;
  • Prepare plans and specifications for design projects;
  • Estimate quantities for design projects, prepare price schedules, and estimate project costs;
  • Review drawings and plans to ensure accuracy against specifications;
  • Participate in support stages during the bidding period and in office-based supervision of civil engineering work;
  • Act as a project manager on certain projects;
  • Act as a specialist designer on certain projects;
  • Comply with rules and procedures that ensure employee health and safety and environmental protection, as well as incident prevention. In addition, in a continuous improvement mindset, be proactive in improving health, safety, and environmental procedures to prevent potential hazards related to your work.
About You
  • Hold a degree in civil engineering or a related field;
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience;
  • Member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ);
  • Good knowledge of specialized software;
  • Ability to manage civil engineering projects;
  • Proficiency in French (spoken and written).
